A Family Community

We believe ministry and mission begins with the local church.

We believe that we can better fulfill the mission of God by supporting, helping, and being accountable to each other.

Founded in 1850, Oakville Presbyterian Church has sought to serve the regular needs of our local community as much as is possible. Together we engage with each other, fulfill the various roles of ministry, and reach out to those around us.

We are a community of believers who exist to follow Jesus Christ, making disciples, and serving in God’s Kingdom.

We are a smaller church and as such, depend heavily on the volunteer efforts of our members.

We focus on providing age-appropriate ministries that seek to educate and train people of all ages to grow in their faith and understanding of God.

We hold a weekly worship service every Sunday morning. Under normal circumstances, nursery care is readily available. Sunday School is provided for children and adults.

Other opportunities like weekly Home Study groups, choir practice, community activities and events are available as God provides leaders for those activities.

Unfortunately the recent pandemic has caused us to suspend most of these activities for now. We continue to pray that this situation will soon improve and we can go back to meeting the needs of our congregation.
