We believe ministry and mission begin with the local church.
We believe that we can better fulfill the mission of God by supporting, helping, and being accountable to each other.
Founded in 1850, Oakville Presbyterian Church has sought to serve the regular needs of our local community as much as is possible. Together, we engage with each other, fulfill the various roles of ministry, and reach out to those around us.
We are a community of believers who exist to follow Jesus Christ, make disciples, and serve in God’s Kingdom.
We are a smaller church and as such, depend heavily on the volunteer efforts of our members.
We focus on providing age-appropriate ministries that seek to educate and train people of all ages to grow in their faith and understanding of God.
We hold a weekly worship service every Sunday morning. Under normal circumstances, nursery care is readily available. Sunday School is provided for children and adults.
Other opportunities like weekly Home Study groups, choir practice, community activities, and events are available as God provides leaders for those activities.
