The Oakville Youth Memorial Scholarship Foundation is now offering scholarships to the high school class of 2024 and current college students for the 2024-2025 academic year.
If you are interested in applying for the scholarship, send an email to the church at [email protected] and an application and instructions will be emailed to you. The application deadline is June 15th, 2024. You will want to get started soon!
In addition to the paperwork you fill out, you will need to obtain three reference letters, which will take some time to get the forms to those individuals and have them complete them and get them back to you.

Students applying for the scholarship may be contacted for a personal interview after the deadline date.
All applicants will be notified of the decision of the Scholarship Committee by the first week of July 2024.
If a student selected to receive this scholarship is unable to attend school during the 2024-2025 year, alternate school terms may be considered.
Qualifications
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Live within the Oakville Parks and Recreation District Boundaries (see description of boundaries in the application form) -OR- be an active participant in the services and activities of the Oakville Presbyterian Church.
- Be a high school graduate by June 2024 or be a current college/university student that is 25 years of age or less.
- Send the completed application form to [email protected]. The application and related materials must be sent by June 15, 2024. Only completed applications will be considered.
Scholarships are based on achievement, potential financial need, and/or a combination of these.
