Volunteer Opportunties at Oakville Church
Nursery and Children’s Church workers: If you love working with children, considering signing up to help in the nursery or to teach children’s church. This is a very useful way to serve the young families of Oakville Church. To be added to the rotation, contact the church office at email@oakvillechurch.org or 541-758-0647.
Wanted a child size table and two children chairs to provide a reading/looking space in the Library for the young people. The table should have rounded edges. Please contact Jim Sisson at 752-7568 if you have questions.
The Music and Worship Ministry Team is seeking a volunteer to serve as the usher chair. For more information contact the church office at 758-0647.
The Fellowship Team ministry always welcomes volunteers to serve refreshments during the coffee hour immediately following the worship service. A sign-up sheet is available in the Fellowship Hall.
The Christian Education team ministry seeks volunteers to help teach both Adult and Youth classes. We are also looking for an Assistant Sunday School Superintendent. For more information contact the church office at 758-0647.
Volunteer Opportunties in the Community:
Fish of Albany, Inc.
Fish provides individuals with basic needs: food, clothing, medicine, gasoline, bus tickets, emergency and transitional shelter for pregnant and parenting teens, and transitional housing for individuals and families.
Volunteers are needed to answer phones and direct clients to services, pack food boxes, sort clothing, yardwork, building mantenance, and serving on the Board of Directors.
Volunteers of all types are needed, including teens, adults, families, seniors, and men’s and women’s groups.

Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry.
